DUANE HUIE

Duane has pastored Livingston Christian Center since October, 1980. He and his wife Joan, RN Nurse Manager of the Operating Room at Livingston HealthCare, were married in 1973. They have 3 children and 12 grandchildren.

A graduate of Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, Duane taught public school for 3 years before moving to St. Paul, Minnesota where he earned a Master of Divinity degree through Bethel Theological Seminary. He later completed his Doctor of Ministry degree, also through Bethel Seminary.
Duane is a member of the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, serves on the Upper Yellowstone Critical Incident Stress Management Team, and is the Chaplain for the Park County Sheriff's department. He enjoys many outdoor activities, photography, and playing guitar. Joan spent much of her early life in East Africa as the daughter of missionaries. In recent years the Huies have taken several short-term missions trips to East African countries.

Duane is passionate about helping people grow in their walk with the Lord as well as in their personal relationships. His preaching and leadership style is aimed at Discovering who we are in Christ, Developing our God-given potential, and discipling Christ-followers.

 

CLINT STRUBLE

Clint, his beautiful wife Ambika and their 2 yr-old daughter moved back to Livingston in April of 2012. They were previously here in 2008-2010 as the worship leaders and part-time youth pastors. Clint and Ambika share a passion for music, the outdoors and to raise up leaders in the church. “Our heart is to see people in the church discover and develop their gifts to serve the church and walk in all God has for them.” With 14 years experience in youth ministry and worship, their heart is to see students reach their full potential in their walk with Christ.

 

CAROL OBERQUELL

Carol Oberquell lives north of Livingston in the beautiful Shields Valley with her husband Don. They have three grown children, one granddaughter and are expecting another grandbaby this December. Carol’s experience teaching in public schools shows in her preparation each week for KidZone,

Toddlerland and Noah’s Park nursery. She is skilled at training and equipping leaders to communicate to each age level about the love of Christ in a fun and safe environment.

Carol and Don enjoy teaching and playing music, gardening and riding their Harley motorcycles together. Don is president of the Christian Motorcyclist’s Association for the Livingston Chapter and trains other bikers to reach the lost at state rallies and other motorcycling events.
